Performance
The XL and XLT both use the 3.5L EcoBoost V6, which is offered in two power outputs - 275 hp or 310 hp. The XL has 16-inch silver steel wheels and black hubcaps, while the XLT features 16-inch steel wheels with full silver wheel covers.
Appearance
The Transit catches the eye, and the XL and XLT present small exterior differences. The XLT's grille is honeycomb mesh with a chrome surround; the XL has a carbon black surround, which gives each trim a distinct face. Running boards are optional on both models.
