What's New for the Ford F-150 Lightning?

The Ford F-150 Lightning is an all-new model, and Ford's first-ever electric pickup truck is among the most innovative on the market! Not only is the new F-150 Lightning great for the environment, but it also packs a high level of performance.

Which Features Are Available on the New F-150 Lightning?

Ford offers the all-new F-150 Lightning in four trim levels: base, XLT, Lariat, and Platinum. Budget-minded truck shoppers will love what the base model brings to the table. More details about its list of features will be revealed later in the model year.

Another step up the trim ladder is the F-150 Lightning XLT. LED headlamps and 18-inch alloy wheels come standard. On the inside, you'll find Ford's new SYNC 4 infotainment system. It features a stunning 12.0-inch HD touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone support. Navigation is integrated into the unit. A customizable digital gauge cluster also comes standard. Ford's 2.4-kW Pro Power Onboard system lets you power tools and appliances when you're outside doing a job.

The leather-appointed F-150 Lightning Lariat brings more luxury. LED accent lights on the tailgate and larger 20-inch alloy wheels enhance the truck's curb appeal. Upgraded 10-way power front seats with heating and ventilation bring elevated comfort. You'll also notice the truck's massive 15.0-inch infotainment display. Meanwhile, music fans can rock out to the eight-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium sound system.

Atop the F-150 Lightning range sits the Platinum trim. A beautiful set of 22-inch machined wheels dress up the truck's exterior. You'll love relaxing the Platinum trim's Multicontour seats with built-in massage functions. Another highlight is the 18-speaker Bang and Olufsen premium sound system.

Raw Power and Stellar Performance

The F-150's electric powertrain packs a serious punch. While the standard version develops 426 horsepower, Ford rates the upgraded powertrain to generate 563 horsepower and a monstrous 775 pound-feet of torque. Acceleration will be powerful. You can also use the F-150 Lightning to tow up to 10,000 pounds.

Technologies To Keep You Safe

All the latest safety innovations, including standard automatic emergency braking and blind-spot information, are available. A new BlueCruise system is found on the upper trim levels, and this hands-free cruise control system helps further reduce driver fatigue.
